BURY boss Stan Ternent today sifted through the wreckage of Saturday's humiliation at Darlington to insist: "We are still in the driving seat for automatic promotion."
The Shakers must win their final two matches to ensure Second Division soccer next season.
But manager Stan Ternent believes his side will have to wait until the final game of the season at home to Cardiff City for the chance to clinch a coveted place in the top three.
"I have said all along it will got all the way to the wire," he said.
"We didn't have one player who played to his potential on Saturday. It was disappointing but it wasn't a catastrophe."
