A STOLEN car being pursued by police rammed a car driven by a pregnant woman in Bolton today.
The Greater Manchester Police helicopter was monitoring the movements of an Austin Maestro, thought to have been stolen earlier, when it smashed into the Ford Sierra in St George's Road, Bolton.
The accident happened outside HW Audio in St George's Road.
A spokesman for the firm said the "heavily pregnant" woman was invited into the shop for a "cup of tea". He said: "She was shocked but we gave her a cup of tea and she left with her family."
The stolen car is thought to have left the scene with the police still in pursuit.
