CALLOUS thieves snatched a life saving bag of equipment from an ambulance last night as paramedics attended a home emergency.
The thieves struck at about 10pm last night as ambulance men were attending to a patient in Cartmell Crescent, off Crompton Way, Bolton.
They got away with the paramedics' 'green bag' - a bag which contains drugs and equipment necessary to resuscitate cardiac arrest patients.
