A MASKED man brandishing a machete grabbed robbed a cashier at a Kearsley petrol station last night.
The terrified woman was forced to hand over her takings and a quantity of cigarettes at the Telegraph Service Station in Bolton Road shortly after 10.30pm. The robber was dark skinned, aged about 20, 6ft tall.
Earlier, a man with a butchers knife fled empty handed after threatening staff at an off-licence in Brackley Street, Walkden.
