BOLTON and Bury's volunteers are to be offered a helping hand from training and enterprise experts.
The Bolton and Bury Training and Enterprise Council (TEC) is offering "structured training and support for organisational development." A Development Fund may also be set up to help new organisations.
The results of a major study estimate that about 10,000 people locally are regular volunteers and another 1,600 are employed by voluntary groups.
