Dagnall has played regularly for second teams at Lancashire, Kent and Worcester and is considered a county star of the future.
He played for British Aero in the Association before joining League side Horwich, where he took 45 wickets and hit over 300 runs this season
qHe takes over from Tony Kelly at Astley and Tyldesley.
