RUSH hour commuters faced traffic chaos after a fire at a Bury factory.
A 200m cordon was placed around Spurs Petroleum on Walmersley Road just after 2.30pm, when it was discovered there were acetylene cylinders on the site.
Firefighters were on the scene throughout the night cooling the cylinders.
A section of Walmersley road was closed and diversions put in to place until 9pm.
Nearby residents were told to stay in their homes
