MY search for a home for a group of old photographs of the Gornall family has come up trumps.
The pictures, sent from Dorset by Miss K J Bailey, have unearthed a big family in the area.
The photographs, typical shots from the 50s, have been adopted by Christine Royle, of Bexhill Drive, Leigh, who spotted her father Bryan Gornall and many other aunts and uncles on the snaps.
A delighted Christine showed me the brilliant family album she had made up dating back to the turn of the century and the pictures will find a place in there.
They couldn't have gone to a better place.
