BURY'S countryside rangers invite nature-lovers to an afternoon of bulb planting in Burrs Country Park. This Friends of Burrs Country Park event is to be held on Sunday, November 27 when people should meet at the main car park at 1.30pm or drop into the showground between 1.45 and 3pm.
Countryside ranger Kathryn Fairclough said: "Come along for 15 minutes or stay for an hour to help us plant a variety of bulbs on the showground to give it a real splash of colour in the springtime."
