CHRISTMAS Day last year was special - because it snowed.
Unfortunately prospects are looking bleak for a repeat performance on Sunday.
According to Dr Richard Wild, the weather services commercial manager and senior meteorologist for WeatherNet Ltd. (www.weathernet.co.uk), based on the current meteorological models, the chances seeing snow on Christmas Day is 0-10%.
The current forecast for our region is dry with sunny spells after an early frost, light and variable winds with slightly below average temperatures for late December.
As long as it's not raining! Happy Christmas everyone.
