I HAVE lived in the Fishpool area of Bury for 30 years and until 18 months or so ago, always enjoyed walking into the town centre to the market.
The behaviour of some of the students from Bury College is disgraceful. Their behaviour includes shouting, swearing, spitting and throwing containers of chips etc onto the floor.
It is most unpleasant trying to get past them as they walk in large groups and seem oblivious to anyone else using the pavement. I must stress not all of the students behave in this way.
Taxpayers' money is being ploughed into the college. Surely the college could at least afford the people of Bury, a little respect and consideration, take responsibility and keep the yob element under control.
