A BURY company specialising in the development and implementation of tailored business software solutions has announced an important contract with European Tubes.

Cedilla Systems Ltd says that its client is investing in the Bury firm's METalchemist solution and a new network infrastructure. European Tubes Ltd is a stockholder and distributor of carbon steel and is located near Warrington. They require the system to provide access to reliable information on financial and inventory performance.

METalchemist is a powerful and flexible Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution based on Microsoft Navision, developed specifically for the metals processing sector and sold exclusively by Cedilla, based at the Waterfold Business Park at Heap Bridge.

Additionally, Cedilla will implement a wireless network, which includes anti-virus, anti-spam, firewall, secure data backup and advanced email and networking solutions, all via Microsoft Small Business Server.

Jason Fazackerley, business development director at Cedilla, commented: "As the UK leader in Microsoft Business Solutions for metals companies, this is an important win for us. We are especially pleased with European Tubes' decision to upgrade their network infrastructure with us."
