STUBBINS Post Office is set to close temporarily when the sub-postmaster retires in February.
The office in Bolton Road North will close on February 22, and customers are advised to use either Ramsbottom Post Office in King Street, or Edenfield Post Office in Market Street.
Post Office rural transfer adviser Ian Liley said: "We apologise for the inconvenience this temporary closure will undoubtedly cause but I can assure the local community that we will be doing all we can to restore service as soon as possible."
Anyone interested in running a branch in Stubbins is asked to call 0845 6016260.
