A 20-year-old man was fined £70 after a commotion with nightclub bouncers in Bury.
James Terence Heapy, of Kingfisher Drive, Bury, admitted a charge of public disorder for which he was also ordered to pay £45 court costs.
Mrs Anna Morris, prosecuting, told Bury magistrates that police attended Sol Viva nightclub where Heapy had been refused admittance by door staff. They claimed the defendant was drunk. It was alleged Heapy had been causing problems at the nearby Siberia club, and Heapy was arrested after using foul language.
Miss Joanne Grant, defending, said Heapy had been involved in an argument with door staff because they said he did not look old enough. Heapy claimed he had been assaulted and was later treated at hospital for two fractured ribs.
