St Anne's, Tottington, Mothers' Union held its annual Christmas party on December 13. Eighty members and friends gathered in the church hall to enjoy a meal and a concert, the latter presented by our own concert group led by Mrs Pauline Cartridge.
The evening was a great success, and the meal delicious. The concert lived up to expectations with many popular characters appearing. These included Sonny and Cher, Bing Crosby, the cast of Chicago, the nuns and von Trapp family from The Sound of Music, and many more.
The party made a happy start to the Christmas celebrations. Thank you to all the people who made it possible. PS
