MIGHT I advise our Town Hall employee responsible that our green wheelie bins are not full most weeks during the winter. Many are not even put out.
Might I suggest that, on the first collection after Christmas Day, our green wheelie bin is utilised to collect the clean cardboard only that householders do need to dispose of at this time.
All the toy and electrical goods cartons will surely add up to a huge total tonnage, and is a ready-made bonus of re-cycling opportunity towards our Bolton Council's Recycling Target of 18 per cent for 2006. Otherwise it will be put it into our grey bins and end up in landfill.
