AFFETSIDE choir entertained audiences at Radcliffe United Reformed Church to help raise money for Bury Hospice.
And not only did the group of around 30 singers perform some of the most well-known traditional Christmas carols, their repertoire also included a selection of modern songs, including a Simon and Garfunkel medley.
The choir, which took part in the concert in Radcliffe last Friday, was started more than 20 years ago by a group of parents and children at Affetside School, and there are now more than 60 singers. Usually between 30 and 40 members take part in any one event.
Dr Robert Aston became the director of music for the group in 2000, and anyone who would like to join can contact Graham Griffiths on 766 6670.
