A MAN has elected trial at the crown court to face an allegation of assaulting a woman at a barbecue during a summer party.
Christopher Dunlop (37), of Shire Gardens, Radcliffe, has denied a charge of assaulting Joanne Whineray causing actual bodily harm. He was granted unconditional bail by Rochdale magistrates to appear at Bolton Crown Court on January 23.
