RE your article on Monday about the plans for apartments on the site of the old Atlantis nightclub.
I must say, I have to agree with Cllr Lever in his comments for more leisure facilities, especially for children.
Wouldn't it be great, in the light of our new boxing hero, Amir Khan, that we extend to the Olympics in 2012 by building an Olympic-sized pool, with special trainers, and, with the size of the land there, there is also space for a fun pool alongside.
Farnworth, Horwich, Radcliffe and Bury pools are NOT Bolton! We need more fun for our kids, and sport in general. So let's kick it off here and have a new star in a different field of sport for 2012.
I'd like to ask Cllr Lever if he could put this to a vote through the Bolton Evening News to the people of Bolton and let them have their say.
