I WOULD like to ask Florence Hill which line in my letter to the Bolton Evening News stated that the Sukula family shouldn't be allowed to stay in Britain, or that I didn't care.
I merely pointed out the "arguments" printed in the paper were weak and would be unsuccessful in their aims. When presenting a case to a judge and being opposed by a barrister representing the Home Office, merely caring is not enough.
Caring might give the Sukulas a warm feeling, but won't stop them being removed. If you want to help them, present a good case.
Celebrity opinion might look good in a newspaper, but a judge will be looking for facts.
I don't need any evidence of brutality or torture - it's the Home Office that does.
