TWO people were taken to hospital after a taxi and a 4X4 collided at the junction of Lever Street and Nelson Street 3.40am on Saturday.
The 34-year-old taxi driver from Little Hulton, suffered facial injuries.
His passenger, a 61-year-old woman from Heaton, suffered whiplash.
The 4x4 driver was not injured.
