MASKED gunmen struck at a betting shop in Leigh.

Two men burst into Paul Dean Ltd in Firs Lane at 4.30pm pon Sunday and demanded cash.

They forced two members of staff into a room at the back of the shop while they searched for money.

The men managed to grab some cash before leaving the shop and escaping in a waiting car.

It is the second time in a week that the firm has been targeted.

A branch in Bury Road, Bolton, was robbed by an armed gang on New Year's Eve just before closing time.

Detectives are investigating whether the two robberies are linked.
