BURY-based Pennine Telecom is supporting its local football team.
The company, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2006, has reached agreement with Bury Football Club to put up a 30ft sign at the pitch side at Gigg Lane.
This follows Pennine's successful tender to provide 35 Motorola hand-portable radios to be used particularly for health and safety on match days.
And there are more match days at Gigg Lane than most top football clubs.
The famous old stadium is also the home ground of FC United of Manchester, the team created by Manchester United fans opposed to the takeover of their club by American tycoon Malcolm Glazer.
Although it only plays in Division Two of the North West Counties Football League it is attracting thousands of fans.
"We felt we should be supporting our local team," said Andrew Roberts, managing director of Pennine Telecom, located in Salford Street, Bury. "The bonus is that two sets of fans will have sight of our board."
