The VCs Stoke based indie band perform sci-fi surf tunes backed by electronica, vocoder and some much welcome tongue in cheek humour. Not only do the band have sci-fi names like Specimen 100, Vocoder Joe and FemBot-S4FF, they also like to dress up for the occasion - lab coat for the theremin player, PVC for the female bassist, with the frontman donning a ski mask. Makes a change from the usual T shirt and trainers combo.
