ASTLEY Bridge veterans Mike Combes and Les Donlan won the Fraser-Huyton Pairs ttile at Bolton Park Vets Bowling Club.
They beat former Pairs title holders Derek Allen and John Mort 15-8 in the final to lift the trophy on a great afternoon of bowls.
The unlucky beaten semi-finalists were the pairings of Brian Lawton and Cliff Unsworth and David Barlow and John Newton.
