BRENDAN O’FARRELL of Brighton Road, Southport, writes: I am researching an Arthur Dewsnap who was born in Bolton.
Arthur was one of several children to Elizabeth Ellen Higson (b 1873), who married William Dewsnap (Second Husband) in 1902.
Her other children were Annie (b1902), William (b 1904), Harry (b 1905), Hilda (b 1908) and finally Arthur in 1911.
Arthur Married Nellie Greenhalgh and had a son called Roy, who was born in 1946 and went on to marry Eileen Ashcroft in Bolton.
Timothy Arthur R Dewsnap was born in 1975, and he shows up in a marriage to Kirsten L Tallis possibly in Fleetwood in 2005.
If anyone can throw some light on Arthur or Roy I would be very happy to contact them, or perhaps Roy may be still in the area , Arthur passed away in 1972 in Bolton .
