A YOUTH aged 19 has appeared in court accused of attempting to murder a taxi driver.
Robert Seddon, of Watson Road, Farnworth, appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court yesterday charged with the offence.
Lee Martin Tuff, aged 18, also of Watson Road, also appeared, charged with assisting an offender.
The charges relate to an incident where a 36-year-old private hire driver, Mohammed Nasar, was stabbed in the back and neck in the early hours of Sunday in Westwood Close, Farnworth.
The two men are due to appear again at Bolton Crown Court on Thursday.
