THREE young Polish players have taken a major step towards joining the Reebok big time after graduating through the academy ranks.

Defenders Jaroslaw Fojut and Blazej Augustyn, and goalkeeper Prezemyslaw Kazimierczak all 18 have signed their first professional contracts with Wanderers.

They are hoping to follow the likes of Kevin Nolan, Nicky Hunt, Joey O'Brien and Ricardo Vaz Te, who all came through the academy.

Two years after joining the academy as scholars, they are fluent in English.

Fojut, who captained Poland U19s in their recent European Championship campaign, has already had a taste of first team action, making his Premiership debut as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Portsmouth in February.

Augustyn is a Poland U16 international and has recently featured in Wanderers' pre-season friendlies against Burnley and Derby County while his former schoolmate, Kazimierczak, has won U16 and U17 caps.
