TOM Eaves struck twice as Wanderers reserves beat Rochdale 3-0 in the Manchester Senior Cup.
The teenage striker hit a superb 10th-minute opener after racing onto Sam Sheridan’s pass. Summer signing Eaves then set up Josh Vela for the visitors’ second before lashing home a third midway through the second half.
Wanderers: Lynch, Riley, Blakeman, Bennett, Eckersley, Connolly (MacGregor 65), Caton, Sheridan, McGeechan (Campbell 74), Vela, Eaves. Subs not used: Turner, Burns, Dennis.
