ALCOHOLIC Billy Isherwood turned his life around after doctors told him if he had one more drink he would die.
He gave up drink and drugs and started running.
Now he has just completed the ultra-gruelling 150 mile Atacama Desert Run in Chile in blistering temperatures one of only 178 ever to cross the finish line.
Billy's marathon effort has raised hundreds for charity and is a great lesson for us all that there is hope, even at the end of a very long and dark tunnel.
