A MAN who tried to open the door of a plane when it was landing has been banned from flying on the Thomas Cook airline for life.
And the airline has issued a warning to all passengers that this kind of behaviour is not acceptable, following the incident last week.
The man, who is believed to be from the Ashton-under-Lyne area of Greater Manchester, was travelling from Manchester to Zakynthos with 18 friends last Thursday and will have to find an alternative airline to return to the UK.
A Thomas Cook spokesman said: "We are saying enough is enough.Everyone at the airline wants passengers to have fun, but the reckless few mean many holidaymakers are complaining about misbehaviour.
"Our zero tolerance policy applies from check-in, at the gate and onboard all flights."
