A PAIR of reindeer will be in town for the start of Bolton’s festive market tomorrow.
Shoppers can pet and feed the reindeer, watch a falconry display with a barn owl, and take photos with Santa in his sleigh, from 1.15pm to 4pm.
One-year-old reindeer Bubble and Squeak, and barn owl Tom, have already met one famous Boltonian — McFly star Danny Jones.
They were invited by McFly to their North London home for filming for their new Super City website.
The festive event, which is being sponsored by Sky, will run until Sunday, December 19.
Cllr Ismail Ibrahim, Bolton Council’s executive member for development and regeneration, said: “We’re really excited about real reindeer coming to Bolton.
“Visitors will be able to get up close and touch them.”
