VANDALS went on an arson rampage across Tonge Moor.
Firefighters were called to four separate blazes between Wednesday night and yesterday morning.
The first arson attack occurred at 9.55pm on Wednesday when yobs set nine metal stock cages, containing a quantity of cardboard, alight in a compound at Matalan in Tonge Moor Road.
Then, at 2.20am yesterday, a commercial wheelie bin was set ablaze behind the Starkies Arms pub on the same road.
A bin compound at the rear of the Tonge Ward Labour Club in Ainsworth Lane, off Tonge Moor Road, was then targeted at 4.40am. And a domestic wheelie bin was set on fire on land at Larkfield Grove at 7.25am.
All the blazes were dealt with by officers from Bolton North fire station.
Police are investigating.
