This was a dark day in Bolton's otherwise proud sporting history when 33 fans were crushed to death on the Embankment end of Bolton Wanderers' Burnden Park ground when barriers at an overcrowded match collapsed.
Amazingly the FA Cup match between Bolton and Stoke, still went ahead.
