SINGER songwriter Jon Gomm will play at the Octagon theatre, Bolton, tonight.
The son of a music critic, musicians would often stay at the Gomm household in Blackpool on the understanding Jon would get a guitar lesson, meaning he had one-to-one tuition from blues legends like Walter Trout and Bob Brozman.
Gomm’s home-recorded album Hypertension sold more than 10,000 copies with no industry backing, while its follow up, Don’t Panic, sold out on Amazon within five days.
Support will come from Darren Poyzer.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £9 from octagonbolton.co.uk or by ringing 01204 520661.
