Youngsters in school always enjoy treading the boards, and in the 70s and 80s it no was different, as the pictures here show.
There is a magical line-up of pupils at the George Tomlinson School, Kearsley. They were performing pantomime "Aladdin" in February, 1981.
Radcliffe County Secondary School presented Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado" in the school hall in April 1973. There were three performances - including a free one for "Radcliffe's old people".
