THREE people have pleaded not guilty to causing the death of a Little Hulton pensioner.
Michael Wyatt, aged 26, of Stamford Avenue, Blackpool, Jonathan Buckley, aged 19, of no fixed address, and a 16-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are charged with manslaughter and burglary.
Sam Marshall, aged 66, suffered three heart attacks and died in hospital just hours after confronting masked robbers at his home in Moorhey Road, Little Hulton, was raided on July 20.
All three appeared at Manchester Crown Court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
A trial date has been set for January 29. Wyatt and Buckley were remanded in custody. The girl was bailed.
