ATHERTON Collieries hit the Wembley trail when they entertain Winsford United in the FA Vase First Round Proper.
The Division One club, unbeaten in six games, take on Winsford, second in the league below, in the nationwide competition where the final is due to be played at the new national stadium.
FC United will also be in Vase action as they look to bounce back at Division Two side Padiham following their first defeat of the season.
The breakaway club were chasing a NWCL record 13th successive victory, but went down 2-1 against rivals Salford City in midweek.
In the league, Atherton LR will also be looking to make amends after their shock Goldline Trophy exit at the hands of Manchester League side Prestwich Heys in midweek. They travel to third-placed Maine Road.
In Division Two, Daisy Hill hope to extend their three-match unbeaten run when they entertain Ashton Town.
