Blackburn Rovers say they are happy to postpone next Saturday’s Premier League game at the Reebok Stadium if Wanderers do not feel they are ready to play.
The Lancashire rivals are sensitive to Wanderers’ situation in the wake of Fabrice Muamba’s medical condition.
Wanderers’ Premier League match at Aston Villa on Tuesday night has already been postponed, and Rovers boss Steve Kean said his club would be guided by Wanderers in terms of Saturday’s game.
”I think the whole footballing world has come together,” said Kean.
”Whatever we have to do we would only respect what Bolton want us to do next weekend.
”We hope he makes a full recovery but if they need a little bit more time and the game doesn’t go ahead then we would respect that from Bolton’s point of view.”
