ELITE LEAGUE ICE HOCKEY: The Elite League will draw to a close this weekend, as the Nottingham Panthers, Hull Stingrays, Cardiff Devils and Belfast Giants fight for the final piece of silverware - the Playoffs.
In the first semi final, the current Elite League champions Belfast Giants will take on the Cardiff Devils. Devils have been present at every Playoff finals weekend, and have made the final for the last two years, but have yet to grab the main prize.
The fairytale this year comes courtesy of the Hull Stingrays, who are appearing at their first finals weekend, following a stunning quarter final victory over the Sheffield Steelers.
Stingrays face a mammoth task to reach the final, as they must first negotiate a semi final against Challenge Cup holders Nottigham Panthers.
