BOLTON Mountain Rescue Team have been helping in the search for a man who went missing after Friday’s Stone Roses gig.

Christopher Brahney, from Timperley, was among 70,000 of the band’s fans at the concert in Manchester’s Heaton Park.

He had left the venue with friends, but returned when he discovered he had lost his mobile phone, at around 11.30pm, and hasn’t been seen since.

Greater Manchester Police have been searching for the 22-year-old and have been helped by several mountain rescue teams, including Bolton.

On Monday, Bolton MRT assisted in a large scale search of the parkland, woods, ravines, and gardens of Heaton Park.

The search has since spread to Middleton after a possible sighting of him on a bus.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 7652.
