PIRATES landed at High Lawn Primary School to celebrate the start of the summer holiday.
The year six class took to the stage for their final primary school performance and had the audience “hooked” with their rendition of Pirates of the Curry Bean.
The comedy play was shown twice to a packed audience — and brought the house down.
Year six teacher Cherise Duxbury said: “There were many corny lines in the play, and the children delivered them with perfection.
“The audience laughed and groaned at the many jokes. The children had only been rehearsing for five weeks. They loved performing in front of the audience.”
