A NURSE who assaulted an 84-year woman suffering from dementia has escaped being sent to jail.
Monica Arseen, aged 32, of Lavenham Close, Whitefield, was reported by staff who worked alongside her at the Parklands Home in Broughton.
She was convicted of common assault and was given a 26 week jail term, suspended for two years and a 12 month supervision order at Salford Magistrates' Court yesterday.
