A MAN has appeared in court charged with murder.
Mateusz Madej, aged 24, of no fixed abode, appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court this morning charged with the murder of Sebastian Zuchlinski.
The hearing has been adjourned and Madej, who is of Polish nationality, is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday.
Mr Zuchlinski, aged 39, died from stab wounds following an attack in Davenport Street, off Topp Way, on February 6, 2016.
Mr Zuchlinski, who was also Polish, was attacked near to his girlfriend’s home.
Tomasz Bubrowski, aged 39, of Cavendish Gardens, Bolton, was convicted of the murder of Mr Zuchlinski in March last year, and sentenced to life imprisonment at Bolton Crown Court, with at least 30 years and 278 days before he was eligible to apply for parole.
