Love Island contestants having links to celebrities is not an unfamiliar occurrence.

Last year's Love Island saw Michael Owen's daughter Gemma appear on the show, and now another islander with a celebrity connection is rumoured to be heading to the villa.

Carl Fogarty's daughter Claudia is being touted as a potential new entrant to the winter series of the show.

Claudia, 24, is rumoured to be coming onto the show as a 'bombshell'.

At the moment she runs the clothing boutique Sister Stories with sister Danielle.

An insider to the programme told The Sun: “Claudia is ready to strut into the villa imminently.

“She’s classy, beautiful and well-educated and is set to have all the boys fighting over her.

“Her life might be glamorous but family means everything to her and she’d love to meet the man of her dreams and settle down. But she’s promised not to be too raunchy, to save Dad’s blushes."

Claudia's dad Carl is a former motorcycle racer and ended up being crowned 'King of the Jungle' when he appeared on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2014.

If Claudia does come onto Love Island then she would be entering at a tumultuous time when many couples are feeling a bit strained.

Tanya and Shaq and Will and Jessie are the only two seemingly settled couples at the moment, meaning there could be plenty of options to go for.
