Take That have announced a UK tour with Olly Murs as the support act and unless you’re the boyband’s biggest fan, you might be wondering what happened to the two members that left and where they are now.

Although Robbie Williams and Jason Orange are no longer part of the boyband, you might also be wondering if they’ll be joining Take That on tour.

Robbie Williams remains in the spotlight and occasionally fans will see him perform or attend an event and recently, he’s been playing shows in places such as Singapore.

The same can't be said for Jason Orange though.

Where is Jason Orange now?

The original members of Take That are Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Robbie Williams.

But, now the band is down to just three members with Gary, Mark and Howard still part of Take That.

Jason announced his departure in September 2014 with a statement that said: ”I have spent some of the best years of my life with Take That and I’d like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my band mates, who are like brothers to me.”

It seems that since leaving the boyband, Orange has taken up a quieter life in the countryside away from the limelight.

By 2018, while talking to the Loose Women panel, his bandmate Howard said Jason wasn’t answering calls and had “gone off the grid”, the Mirror reports.

He said: “Jason has gone off the grid. He's not taking emails or phone calls or stuff like that. That's good for him.

“That's where he wants to be. I think he wants to be a million miles away from this at the moment.”

Jason was seen queuing in a dry cleaners in Chipping Norton, Gloucestershire in 2020, the newspaper reports.

However, the former band member was seen riding a bike in north London earlier this year and this month.

Jason hasn’t spoken about his decision to leave the band since he did so and the remaining members of the band have said he won’t be returning like Robbie Williams did before his second departure, The Sun reports.

Take That announce 2024 tour with Olly Murs as the support act

Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald are preparing for their tour of the UK and Ireland which will take place in 2024.

The tour was announced today (September 22) after the boyband’s logo was seen on the side of arenas and stadiums across the UK.

They will visit Manchester, London, Glasgow and more locations during the tour.

Olly Murs is the support act for the shows.

Will Robbie Williams and Jason Orange join Take That on tour?

Although the group are no longer a band of five, Take That's upcoming tour has made many excited that Jason and Robbie could join them.

However, Take That has given a verdict on whether their former bandmates will join them, and it's not good news.

As the group told The Sun in 2022: "The one thing I keep hearing is that Take That are coming back but there’s no Robbie and Jason. Robbie hasn’t been in the band since 2011 and Jason left in 2014.

"We’ve always said they’re welcome to join us but we’ve done about 600 shows since they were around.

"We’re a three at the moment and we’re doing OK."

The tour starts in Sheffield on April 13, 2024.
