High Street cafe brand Costa Coffee has made a major change to one of its most popular food items.
Costa previously announced that it would no longer be heating its cinnamon buns to avoid customers burning their mouths on the hot icing.
Seeing the coffee chain only sells the buns cold to avoid any health and safety risks.
However, it's now understood that Costa will once again be selling hot cinnamon buns after finding a new, safer way to heat them up.
Costa Coffee makes a major change to a popular item
In a statement, Costa said: "We have listened to customer feedback and are pleased to confirm that our Cinnamon Buns can now be heated upon request."
At the time of the original change to only cold buns, many customers were left disappointed, expressing their feelings on social media.
The Costa Coffee Facebook page saw one customer write: "Cinnamon buns are just so much nicer when they are warm."
While on X, one fan of the chain said: "Justice for the cinnamon bun … bring them back warm."
Previously, Costa told customers on social media: "We have had several reports of customers burning their mouths on the icing, so we have had to advise our teams not to heat these up anymore.
"We do apologise for any disappointment caused."

"Then, head to settings > invite your friends and you will find your own code that you can share with others. For each friend you recommend you earn 5 beans.
