PLANS to build two homes following the demolition of a former community centre were approved last week.
A planning application to construct two detached homes after the former "Leigh And Bedford Old Folks Community Centre" on Cross Street is knocked down was given the green light by Wigan Council.

One objection to the proposals was issued which included concerns about construction vehicles causing an obstruction for residents.
A previous application for two semi-detached homes was also granted permission in 2018.
