SPINNING Gate Shopping Shopping Centre in Leigh is offering free Santa visits to families.
Father Christmas is inviting people to give free visits in his throne, next to the centre's huge 30ft Christmas tree outside Costa Coffee, from Thursdays to Sundays between 12.30pm to 4.30pm this week and next week.
Santa will also be in attendance on Monday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 24 from 11am to 3pm.
The Spinning Gate elf will welcome people and offer to take photos (using your mobile phone) of your visit to see Santa, capturing the memories of this special moment.
Children who visit Santa will receive a mini candy cane or chocolate coin and a sticker too as well.

Spinning Gate centre manager Karen Cox: “Christmas is such a magical time of the year for families and we want to spread the festive joy with our free Santa visits.
"Last year, our Santa had more than 3,500 visitors and we enjoy seeing the little ones faces light up as they see Santa."
Spinning Gate's Santa said: “It is so nice for all the families who visit me whilst they are doing their Christmas Shopping.
"Mrs Clause and I would like to wish you all a truly wonderful Christmas and hope you get all the things you dream of.
"Don't forget to write me a letter and leave it in my post box near the huge Christmas tree opposite Costa Coffee in Spinning Gate Shopping Centre.
"If you include your name and address I will even write back to you.”
Spinning Gate is also providing free festive family entertainment each Saturday until Christmas.
