ATHERTON’S annual nativity parade will tour the town tomorrow, Friday, December 13.
The parade, which will include carol music being performed from Tyldesley Band and a choir, will set off on the car park on Mealhouse Lane at 6pm. School pupils will join in with the parade too.

Narrators will go to the parade to tell the biblical story at three inns (pubs) before heading to St John the Baptist’s Church, Atherton.
Everyone will then gather in front of a stable scene to continue the story.
